The heartwarming actions of the Royal Malaysia Police’s Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department (JSPT) personnel in rescuing a frightened baby monkey trapped on the divider between two busy roads in Ampang, Selangor, have captured the admiration of Malaysians.

In a touching incident that unfolded on Monday (12th February) in front of Petron Pandan Perdana Ampang, the JSPT took swift action, temporarily stopping traffic to ensure the safe rescue of the distressed primate.
PDRM shared a video of the rescue on their official Facebook page, showcasing the selfless efforts of Sergeant Hairil Abd Gapol from the Ampang District Police, who bravely approached the scared baby monkey and gently carried it to safety.
A compassionate bystander, identified as a man in a red shirt, also lent a helping hand during the rescue.
Despite the initial fear and confusion displayed by the tiny creature, Sergeant Hairil's determination prevailed as he carefully transported the baby monkey across the road to a place of security.
The heartening scene captured by the camera also revealed the commendable teamwork of other JSPT personnel from the Ampang District Police, who temporarily halted traffic to ensure the success of the rescue mission.
Moved by the display of compassion and teamwork, Malaysians flooded the comments section with words of admiration for Sergeant Hairil and the entire JSPT team. Many commended their unwavering commitment to saving the life of a wild animal, while others expressed gratitude towards the concerned bystander who stood by until the very end.
