A shocking video shared by a Facebook user serves as a reminder why it is so important to look around before opening the door of your car.
It’s true, road accidents are something that cannot be predicted… However, there are times where accidents are preventable if only you are more aware and mindful of your surroundings.

Recently, a dash cam recording went viral on Facebook showing a car driver who suddenly, out of nowhere, opened his car door while stopping in the middle lane of the road, at a red light.
And almost immediately, a motorcyclist is seen being knocked down by the car door that was opened suddenly.
The driver then got out of his car and tried to help the rider to move his motorcycle.
Looking at the comment section, many criticized the driver for being reckless, “I don’t understand it. Why would you open the door in the middle of the road? Without even checking whether there are other vehicles coming from behind?"
“I’m only watching the video and I am already so annoyed,” another person said.
