Rodney Price, a traveller from Queensland, Australia, had the incredible opportunity to capture this breathtaking scene during his flight from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan.

As Price's plane glided through the skies, his camera captured Mount Kinabalu piercing through the clouds, standing tall and majestic.

Sharing these amazing photos on the public Facebook group "SABAH: The Crown of Borneo," Price expressed his amazement, saying, "I was completely mesmerised by this incredible sight from our plane window on the way from KK to Sandakan. Look at Mount Kinabalu, like an island in the sky!"

The photos quickly drew admiration from viewers, who were enchanted by the mountain's beauty.

Located in Sabah, Mount Kinabalu reaches an impressive height of 4,095 metres, making it the third-highest island peak globally.
