Cute! Mother Uses Cat To Get Her Baby’s Attention While Taking Passport Photo At Immigration Office

Taking a passport photo as an adult is difficult enough: finding the right angle, keeping your eyes open, and deciding on a photo you're willing to commit to for the next five years.

However, if you're the parent of a baby, getting an acceptable passport photo of a toddler may seem like an extra challenge.

A video recently went viral on TikTok of a mother who had to use a cat to help distract her baby while they took her passport photo at the Immigration office.

In the video, the mother is seen holding up a black cat next to the camera while holding her daughter. It seems like her little trick worked as her daughter could be seen looking straight at the camera.

A man, who is believed to be the baby’s father could be seen playing a video on his phone in an effort to get the child’s attention so the immigration officer could take the photo. But what caught netizens’ eyes is how well-behaved the cat was, remaining calm throughout the whole thing.

“The cat was walking by and I had to grab it and bring it into the office,” the caption reads.

The video has since garnered over 118,000 views at the time of writing.

Netizens took to the comment section to share their amusement, saying how the cat should get a permanent job at the immigration office, “Even the cat is now working as a government officer. I’m still waiting for my offer letter.”

“Hopefully the immigration department pays the cat with lots of wet food,” another person commented.

This is probably the cutest video we’ve ever seen!
