A mother recently shared a video on TikTok, surprising her eldest son with something that he has always wanted… racing simulator steering wheel.
The video, which has since gone viral on TikTok, shows her son getting into the passenger seat after coming back from school. The woman who recorded the video starts asking her son if he loves her, in which he replies: “Sayang…”
The son was taken aback at first with the question but later went along with his mother.
“Do you remember, you’re always getting scolded by me,” she asked, but he replied: “But mom, do you remember, you were the one who always buys me credits for my phone.
“I was being naughty. That’s why you scold me.”
She then told her son that she loves him one more time before asking him to look at the backseat, where he instantly started crying and went in to hug his mother.
“I want to thank you, Along, for always being the first to help me. For putting your younger siblings’ needs before yours. I will always love you,” she wrote in her caption.
She then explained that the gift was intended to express her gratitude towards her oldest son for always helping her out around the house.
The video has since garnered over 878,500 views at the time of writing.
Netizens took to the comment section to praise the young boy for not being afraid to show emotions at such a young age, “Why am I crying watching this video? You’re a lucky mom,” one person commented.
“This warms my heart. My parents weren’t able to shower me with amazing gifts and it’s not their fault. Now that I have my own children, I try to give them what they want as long as they’re being good kids,” one person shared.
