Man Faints During Parade, His Uncle Who He Calls “Abah” Came To His Aid & Helped Him!

Family is not only by birth. Sometimes a dad is a dad when they made the choice to love when  they didn’t have to.

Just yesterday, a video went viral on TikTok of a man in uniform who fainted during a parade on Thursday (July 21st), and then later an elderly man was seen running towards him to hold him upright.

People online thought the elderly man was his father, but the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry officer explains that it was his uncle who came to his aid and helped him stand.

The 22-year-old man named Nik Mhamad Adhar said that he regarded his uncle Abdul Aziz Ya’acob, who is a taxi driver like his own father, “My uncle is ‘Abah,” he told The Star.

He added that he is an orphan who had been raised by the 60-year-old man and his wife, Rosmawati Ismail, who he refers to as his mother since he was only three months old, “My birth mother passed away when I was three months old and my father passed away when I was seven.

“They treated me like their own,” he said.

He told The Star that even though he was only their nephew, there was no difference in terms of treatment between him and their six children.

He also clarified that he was unwell during the event, which caused him to faint.

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi shared heartwarming photos of the incident in his Facebook post, showing the touching moment of a “father” and son moment.
