Luxury Car Damaged By Man In Penang For Illegal Parking And Blocking PWD Pathway

A video recently went viral of a man in his 40s who was cycling when he spotted a black luxury car parked illegally in front of a bus stop while blocking the persons with disabilities pathway.

He is then seen getting off his bicycle and then starts kicking and damaging the car’s side mirror while expressing his anger to the people standing nearby. 

In the video, the caption reads: “A man aggressively damages a luxury car’s right side mirror that was illegally parked in front of a bus stop while blocking the persons with disabilities pathway.

“The incident happened at Jalan Perak. The owner of the car is having a meal at the nearby economic rice stall,” it says. 

The video has since garnered over 463,000 views at the time of writing.

Apparently, the man has been reported as mentally unstable.

According to The China Press, after being told of the incident, the owner of the car allegedly contacted the police. The owner then had to tie his mirror before driving away. 

Netizens took to the comment section to discuss the owner of the car’s illegal parking, “You’re blocking a bus stop and a persons with disabilities walkway. That man, right there is a hero! 

“He dared to do what others were too afraid to do,” said one person.

While another user pointed out that it’s not right to damage other people’s property no matter the reason: “Yes, the driver was in the wrong. But damaging other people’s property is not the right thing to do as well. 

“He can get fined or jailed. Not to mention having to pay for the repairs.”

Guys, be aware that parking your car in front of a bus stop is an offense! 

Buses are big and long vehicles, so they require a lot of space to facilitate passengers. So yes, you can expect a RM200 fine if you illegally parked in front of a bus stop. 

However, damaging someone else’s property is also not okay…
