Having started his career as an engineer in 2003, he revealed that he had successfully amassed SGD354,258 (RM1.24 million) in his Central Provident Fund (CPF) account, Singapore's equivalent of Malaysia's Employees Provident Fund (EPF), which serves as a social security and retirement savings scheme.

With a monthly salary of SGD5,000 (RM17,618), the man expressed the difficulty of leaving his current engineering position and the temptation to withdraw his CPF savings to enjoy the fruits of his labour. After encountering challenges in Singapore, including increased work stress after a promotion, he now faces a new dilemma as he contemplates retirement back in Malaysia.

Seeking advice on his next chapter, the man turned to the Facebook group, highlighting his lack of familial support as he navigates this life transition. Many group members suggested exploring business and real estate investments, while others emphasised the importance of taking a break to rediscover happiness after years of hard work.
