It’s not uncommon to see people hogging extra seats on the train or bus by putting their bags on them.

However, recently, one LRT user shared a video of a woman who had multiple shopping bags on the seat next to her. The photo has since gone viral online which caused an outrage among Malaysians.

In the 12-seconds video, the woman can be seen comfortably sitting in the train while playing with her phone. What angered netizens after watching the video is how she had multiple shopping bags on the seat next to her, and not even acknowledging the fact that there are so many people around her standing in the train because the train was so full with passengers.

“Please have some common sense. You have bags on seats that were meant for people and you literally ignored everybody around you,” according to the text in the video.

The video has since garnered over 1.2 million views on Twitter at the time of writing.

“If it were me, I would just pick up her bags and put them on the floor if she doesn’t listen,” one person said.

“I use the MRT everyday for work, and yes, she is not alone. People like this do exist and there are a lot of them,” another person said in the comments.

Guys, please be mindful of the people around you! If the train is full and people are standing around you, you should absolutely clear the seat!

What would you do if you were in this situation?
