According to a recent study conducted by finance website Insider Monkey, Malaysia has been crowned as the most loved country in Asia.
The findings were based on an intricate analysis that amalgamated data from five previous studies, each evaluating various aspects of Asian nations.

Insider Monkey's methodology involved reviewing its rankings for the 15 Most Respected Countries, 15 Friendliest Countries, 20 Most Visited Countries, 20 Most Diverse Countries, and 20 Most Democratic Countries in Asia. Each metric was given a specific weightage, with the first three categories accounting for 75% of the total score, while the remaining two held a 25% weightage.
Malaysia showcased commendable rankings across the board, securing the 8th position for respect, 5th for visitation, 2nd for friendliness, 14th for diversity, and 6th for democracy.
Through this meticulous evaluation process, Insider Monkey concluded that Malaysia emerged as the frontrunner, boasting an impressive overall score of 0.701.
The study further emphasised that Malaysia's allure extends beyond its picturesque beaches and modern city life. Visitors flock to the country to immerse themselves in its rich cultural tapestry, where hospitality and warmth permeate every interaction.
