Huang, who speaks fluent Bahasa Melayu, takes viewers on a virtual tour of Quanzhou City in Fujian Province. The video reveals how Quanzhou, with its unique blend of cultures, has many elements reminiscent of Malaysian heritage.

In the video, Huang, dressed in a beautiful Nyonya Kebaya, explores the city and highlights Malaysian features like the kaki lima (five-foot way) on shop fronts. This covered walkway is commonly found in Malaysia and has its roots in Melaka and other Straits Settlements.

She also shows off Malaysian kuihs and foods, traditional Malaysian houses, and shops selling Kebaya, all present in Quanzhou. Huang explains that Quanzhou, a popular city in Fujian Province, has a special connection to Southeast Asia. Many of its residents who once lived in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have returned and brought a piece of their culture with them.

The video has inspired many Malaysians to think about visiting Quanzhou. In the comments section, viewers expressed their admiration for the city’s cultural mix and Huang’s engaging tour. One commenter even asked about tour packages from Malaysia.
