Recently, G-Dragon, the charismatic leader of BIGBANG, garnered significant attention when he was appointed as a special professor at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). His presence on campus created a buzz, and he shared his experiences in an interview with Elle Korea magazine.

Reflecting on his new role, G-Dragon described it as a novel challenge that evoked feelings of excitement and curiosity. "This was a completely new challenge for me, too. I was confused yet excited as if it were my first day at school. I looked around the mechanical engineering department, and it felt like I was at an amusement park because there were so many interesting things," he said.

He admired the passion and dedication of KAIST students, likening their commitment to his own journey of trial and error in the music industry.

G-Dragon also provided an update on the current status of BIGBANG members. He acknowledged that the group now consists of three members and mentioned that their conversations don't typically revolve around the current music scene.

"Our members? Ah, now there are three of us. No, we don’t talk about the current scene when we’re together. Of course, we talk about topics that come naturally or are hot issues. Don’t you think we are difficult to approach for junior artists?" he remarked.

Despite the changes, fans continue to support the members and hope for their well-being.

In the interview, G-Dragon also shared his thoughts on the concept of eternity. He expressed a nuanced perspective, recognising the inherent impermanence of life while acknowledging the human desire for enduring love, faith, and friendship…

"Considering our finitude, eternity is impossible…but I think some things can be considered eternal. I understand the desire for love, faith, and friendship to last forever. But if you ask me if eternity is a good state, that’s a different problem.

“I believe that not all good things stay good, and not all bad situations stay bad forever. If there is no change, would we be able to feel the variety of emotions we do now?" he pondered.

G-Dragon's insights resonate with many, as he continues to inspire with his creativity and reflective thoughts. His appointment at KAIST and his candid reflections remind us of the ever-evolving nature of life and the importance of embracing change.
