As we all know, the government has recently launched the Menu Rahmah meal programme, which is aimed specifically at helping the poor by providing lunch or dinner meals at an affordable price.

Since its launch, the initiative has been relatively well-received, with the public generally lauding it as a time effort especially with the rising cost of living.
Meanwhile, a foreigner recently went viral showing his excitement for the Menu Rahmah.
In the video, the man can be seen explaining to his followers what Menu Rahmah is and even praising the Malaysian government for the initiative.
He was also seen trying out the Menu Rahmah, and showed his followers the complete and balanced meal that he got for only RM5!
In the video, he also urged his home country, the United Kingdom, to view Malaysia as an example, and suggested that the UK government also consider the same initiative there to help those who are in need.
“Inflation, the cost of living is rising in countries like the UK and they are really struggling to even feed their own people.
“Check out what Malaysia is doing to help its people. They have come out with a really great thing called Menu Rahmah, which is a RM5 meal for people struggling to make ends meet,” he said in his video.
The video has since garnered over 28,000 views on TikTok and over 428,300 views on Twitter at the time of writing.
Netizens took to his comment section to thank him for spreading awareness about the Menu Rahmah so that more Malaysians, who are struggling, are aware of this initiative.
