A video that went viral recently of an uncle who gifted his wife a brand new car has stolen Malaysians’ hearts!

In a video, shared by TikTok user @lilie_proton shows an elderly uncle pretending to look around for a car to buy. He is then seen getting into one of the cars to “test it out” until the user, who is known as Lilie, approaches the uncle while holding a giant cardboard car key.
“The uncle told me that he wanted to pretend to look for a car, because he bought the car for his wife and he brought her to the showroom to surprise her,” Lilie explained.
The aunty was shocked at first when Lilie handed her the cardboard key, but it wasn’t long until she started laughing out of joy at the surprise.
“I am so surprised!” the aunty can be heard saying.
The video has since garnered over 388 thousand views at the time of writing.
The uncle’s sweet gesture has also attracted netizens’ attention who said: ‘You could never be too old to do something romantic for your other half.’
“This is so sweet! You can tell that he really loves his wife,” one person said.
