As ordinary people, we should be grateful for what we have and strive to provide for our families. Recently, a video of an elderly person working as a food delivery driver went viral, moving many people to tears.

The video, shared by @hazwanhfiz on social media, shows an elderly uncle carrying a delivery bag while walking with a bent posture.

It is believed that he takes and delivers food to customers in and around Kuala Lumpur. What made the video particularly heart-wrenching was when the recorder asked the elderly man about his plans for the Raya holidays, and he replied that he does not take any holidays and only rests during prayer times.

To make matters worse, the elderly man also only breaks his fast by taking food at suraus or mosques in the surrounding area.

He said, "I broke my fast and took it near Surau Hartamas. I eat and then start working again. There is no Raya holiday, there is no rest."

The video has since garnered 719K views, 56.5K likes, and over 3,000 comments on the TikTok page, with many netizens expressing their sadness and sympathy for the elderly man's situation.

Some have even expressed a desire to meet him and offer help.

@hazwanhfiz Kesian pada masa yang sama cemburu dengan semangat pakcik Grabfood ni. Dalam bongkok² dia pun satu KL dia pusing cari rezeki bulan puasa ni.. Moga dipermudah segala urusan beliau. Yang biasa duduk di Mont Kiara & Sri Hartamas mesti biasa jumpa pakcik 'legend' ni. #Grabfood #MontKiara #SriHartamas ♬ original sound - Jayhadee®️

It is heartening to see that despite the many challenges that life can bring, people still have a deep sense of empathy and compassion for others.

It serves as a reminder that we should always be grateful for what we have and strive to help those who are less fortunate.
