“He walked to a hotel in Kota Kinabalu last week to deliver an order. The customer was surprised that he had walked 7 KM,” he said. Adrian also shared that the delivery man, who goes by Khai, had been saving for months to buy himself a bicycle.
“Because he comes from a poor family, he is willing to travel all this way to earn a living. He would send money to her mother once a week.
“He’d work every day from 8 am to 9 pm, however, the orders weren’t consistent. He doesn’t always get orders because he delivers by foot, so he can’t go to faraway locations,” he wrote.
The delivery man is seen crying after he received his gift. He said that meeting Adrian in person and receiving a gift from him has been very special.
This is a heartwarming video. Keep up the good work, Khai! We’ll be rooting for you!
