We often hear about accidents on the highway. Most accidents that occur are due to the driver’s negligence.
As road users, we are trained and licensed by the government to drive safely and responsibly, which includes being fully aware of our surroundings while driving.

However, recently a video went viral of a brave young man risking his own safety, trying to stop a speeding vehicle because he wanted to move a ladder that fell in the middle of the highway.
The video, shared by user @encikhafidz06 shows that the man was walking along the highway, trying to stop the speeding vehicles in order to remove a ladder that was in the middle of the highway.
The incident is believed to have happened on the MEX Highway heading towards Putrajaya. It was also believed that the ladder fell from a 4x4 vehicle that was in front of him at the time, which he also almost hit.
Due to concerns for the safety of other road users, he decided to try and move the ladder.

Netizens took to the comment section to thank the man for his bravery and selfless act, “Thank you for making other people’s business easier, may you be rewarded.”
The video has since garnered over 980 thousand views and over 47.5 thousand likes at the time of writing.
That is so dangerous, but very brave and selfless of him. We’re glad nobody was hurt!
