A surau in Putrajaya recently shared a photo of a note that they discovered in the surau’s donation box. They also found a RM100 bill attached to the letter.

According to the post, a young boy had apparently sent the letter explaining that he had food poisoning on the 27th of January and had accidentally vomited in the surau, “I wanted to clean it but my dad was already waiting in the car and he was blocking other cars.
“I’m very sorry and I hope you can forgive me,” the letter reads.
The surau clarified in their post that they weren’t upset with the boy, but in fact they commended the brave young boy for having the courage to speak up.
Many Malaysians who came across the post also took the time to praise the boy for his courage in admitting what he had done.
