Is BLACKPINK's Jennie Making a Marvel Cameo? Fans Debate Rumours

Social media is buzzing with rumours that BLACKPINK’s Jennie might appear in the upcoming Marvel movie 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' The speculation has ignited a heated debate among fans, with opinions sharply divided.

The controversy began when an alleged credits leak surfaced, listing Jennie as “Jennie BLACKPINK” in the role of Korean Deadpool. This immediately raised suspicions, as it seemed uncharacteristic to use her stage name rather than her acting name, “Jennie Ruby Jane.” Sceptics quickly dismissed it as a hoax, saying, "No way... it’s likely fake."

Conversely, some fans pointed to screenshots purportedly showing a scene with multiple Deadpool variants, all masked, making it difficult to identify any specific actor. This has led to speculation: Could Jennie be among them?

The debate intensified with the release of a shaky video showing the movie credits, which many dismissed due to its poor quality. However, a clearer video soon followed, supposedly from someone who attended an advanced screening of the movie. This post, however, was later deleted, adding to the mystery.

Adding fuel to the fire, Jennie has already dipped her toes into the acting world with her role in HBO's 'The Idol,' so it's not surprising that fans are speculating about her continuing her acting career with a Marvel cameo.

With no official confirmation, fans are left to speculate. Some believe Marvel might be playing a prank by listing various famous names in the credits to stir excitement.

Whether Jennie is part of the movie or not remains uncertain, and fans will have to wait until the film’s release on July 26 to discover the truth.
