A video of South Korean actress, Song Ji-hyo recently went viral after she was seen talking to a fan in Malaysia using sign language.

The video, which stole Malaysian netizens’ hearts, shows the Running Man star at an event in Kuala Lumpur, which took place last Sunday (18 March).
In the video, which was shared by user @sngmsyn on TikTok shows Song Ji-hyo interacting with a number of hearing-impaired fans at the event using sign language, “Song Ji-hyo is fluent in sign language.
“She used it to interact with her fans. She’s the sweetest woman in my opinion,” the caption reads.
The video has since garnered over 1.7 million views at the time of writing.
Malaysian netizens took to the comment section to praise the actress for making an effort to communicate with all of her fans, “She is the best when it comes to fan service. Unmatched! She truly cares for all of her fans,” one person said.
“I admire public figures, celebrities who are able to use sign language. It shows how much effort and care they put into interacting with their fans.”
Just last month, Malaysian singer and actor, Alif Satar was also seen in a viral video interacting with one of his fans using sign language.
Alif then told reporters that he learned sign language from his parents who previously worked as special education teachers.
He also added that he started learning sign language at the age of four.
The video has since garnered over 2 million views on TikTok at the time of writing.
