Malaysian woman, Siti Nasuha Abdullah met her husband on Instagram, and in 2019, got engaged, got married, and moved to Singapore, which is also the same year the world started fighting against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This then leads to domestic lockdowns and border restrictions, which separated thousands of families and couples in Malaysia and around the world for over two years.

Nasuha, who didn’t get to celebrate the last two Hari Raya with her family decided to reunite with her mother in Kedah after nearly two years.
The video that she shared on TikTok has since gone viral and received over 753.6 thousand views!
The 23-year-old can be seen arriving at her family’s home in a delivery box, leaping out to greet her surprised mother before embracing her in a long hug.
Her husband, a 24-year-old Singaporean, was in on the surprise too. Known as Izzul, he arrived at the house dressed as a deliveryman and even had his beard shaved off and he wasn’t wearing his glasses, as part of the disguise.
Jariyah, who was the mother can be seen sobbing while she hugs her daughter asking: “Why did you come in a box? What happened to Izzul?”
So cute
Izzul, who was filming the emotional reunion said he had only met her twice before.

We’re so happy to see Malaysians getting to balik kampung and celebrate Hari Raya with their loved ones, finally!
