Cats are mysterious creatures. We just don’t know what’s going on inside their heads!
An adorable kitten was found with its head stuck in a kitchen sink. What’s worse is that it had been in pain and confusion for nearly 24 hours!

The incident occurred at Taman Pulai Indah Johor, after Senior Fire-Rescue Officer, Suraini Adnan, received a call from his neighbour to check an abandoned kitchen sink where the cat was found around 3 pm on Wednesday (19 Feb).

Seven members of Skudai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene to help.
“Upon arrival at the scene, we saw a kitten caught in a sinkhole that was no longer in use.
"Initially, our firefighters tried to remove the kitten from the sink using their hands, but it was unsuccessful because the kitten's ears were swollen," he said.
According to their observation, the kitten must have been in said condition for almost a full day.
Unable to remove the kitten from the sink, the firefighters used a special tool called a “ram bar” to break the sink and finally set the kitten free!

"The kitten was saved without any injuries," said Suraini.
We’re glad the kitten is now safe and sound. Let’s hope all cats out there don’t get any ideas when they encounter any abandoned sinks.
