The video has since gone viral on social media.

The Perak Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) when contacted informed reporters that their team had gone to the scene after receiving reports from the villagers.

According to Astro AWANI, they found that there were traces of the presence of a crocodile and an effort to track it down was unsuccessful.

“The crocodile may have re-entered the Kurau River.

“Heavy rain in the morning caused the water level to rise, believed to be the cause of the crocodile coming to shore near the village’s canal,” he said.

According to PERHILITAN Perak, they have put up warning signs to remind the villagers to be careful when being around the area where the crocodile was spotted.

The villagers were also told to contact PERHILITAN as soon as they see the crocodile again and to not take matters into their own hands.

Oh no, this is scary!

Remember guys, if you see wild animals roaming around your area, please find a safe place for yourself and report it to the authorities immediately.
