As students, we would usually spend our semester break sleeping or working part-time at a restaurant or a retail store.
While many do it on the basis of earning extra pocket money, there are also those who just want to gain experience.
A video recently went viral on TikTok of a university student showing off her collection of uniforms from six different companies that she’s worked with, while still studying.
Speaking to SYOK, the “Part-time Queen” who is from Kota Damansara, said that she didn’t think that her video would go viral. It was also a coincidence that she found all of her old uniforms while cleaning her room.
She started working part-time when she was 18-years-old and during every semester break, as she said that the experiences would be very useful for her.
“I didn’t want to just sit at home and not do anything. I like seeing other young people who are working hard to achieve their dreams, and I was inspired to be just like them. These part-time jobs also helped me to improve myself in many ways,” she said.
Nurin has worked in several companies such as Jakel, Texas Chicken, Nando’s, McDonald’s, Kyochon, and IKEA.
