It’s not every day you come across something so heartwarming like this!
Facebook user, Nur Farah Ayu shared on 'Kami Penduduk Bentong' page, the faith-restoring story which took place last week when a Foodpanda rider went out of his way to send a package that he found on the road, right to her doorstep.

“The Foodpanda rider called me and delivered the item right to my doorstep. He is a good person, may he be blessed,” Farah said.
She even offered to reward him with money as a token of appreciation but the humble rider refused.
Muhamad Shabri, the Foodpanda rider, told mStar that he did not expect the incident to go viral and was worried that it would potentially jeopardise the courier company’s reputation. “I just wanted to help, without any ulterior motives, I just want to deliver the item safely.”

Shabri said he came across the parcel when he was out and about fulfilling orders in the Bentong area, and noticed that the receiver’s address wasn’t that far from his work’s headquarters so he decided to might as well deliver the package himself.
However, Farah wasn’t home when he arrived, hence left her a message on her phone.

“I didn’t want to hold on to someone else’s item for too long, so I informed her to return my call within an hour or I’ll hand the item over to the courier company,” he added.
“She called back right after and asked if I could redeliver the item back to her house.”
Farah Ayu later updated her post, clarifying that the courier service rider who accidentally dropped her parcel contacted her to apologise. It’s a mistake that could’ve happened to anyone, and we think it’s great that the rider came forward to apologise.
The post has since gone viral with over 1,300 reactions and netizens flooding the comment section with praises for the rider.
Thank you, Abang rider!
