This Influencer’s Pink Band Prank Definitely Went Wrong!

YouTubers and pranksters are known to create content that makes people laugh… but some things are just not funny!

A Malaysian influencer known as Chazynash decided to pull a prank at a restaurant by wearing a pink band on his wrist which looks like the pink band that is worn by those who are undergoing home quarantine.

In the now-deleted 59-seconds video, Chazynash can be seen dining at a restaurant wearing the pink band which clearly made other customers around him very uncomfortable.

One man approached him and asked to see his hand, but after a closer look at it, it turns out the band had “Wife prohibits me from going out for two weeks” written on it.

The YouTuber, whose real name is Syed Fernarsh Syed Badlishah has since issued an apology on his Instagram account saying that it was all staged and that everyone seen in the video were all actors.

According to Astro Awani, Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said that wearing the wristband for the sake of pranks is considered an offence, “He has the intention of cheating others by using KKK-issued wristbands.”

The police will now take further action.

“I hope we all can be responsible especially during this time. We shouldn’t take COVID-19 as a joke or laughing matter. It’s a major issue that has to do with people’s lives. Your actions has its consequences,” he added.

Well, some things are no laughing matter!
