Oh no, this is so sad!
Telekom Malaysia technicians rescued a poor doggo stuck in a flooded utility hole in Felda Jengka 9 in Pahang.
A technician who was on the lookout for a faulty cable with four other colleagues, stumbled upon the dog, and despite having to jump into the muddy and polluted water, his swift action received praise from netizens online.

According to NST, technician Mohd Saifullah Abdul Moin said the five of them were on their way from Felda Jengka 9 to look for damaged telephone cables in the area and along the way spotted a utility hole without its cover, which was likely stolen.
“We went down to take a look and were shocked to find a tired-looking dog partially submerged in water.
“We tried to put a plank so that the dog could clamber up, but the canine could not climb up and it was helpless,” he said.
His colleague, Muhammad Zahid then mustered up enough courage to go down the utility hole and help the dog.
Though the dog looked scared and worried, it wouldn’t bite him. With the help of a gunny sack from their van, he wrapped the dog’s neck with it then pulled it out.
“I felt bad for the poor stray dog that was trapped in the hole, with its head looking up hoping for help.
“It took me about half an hour to try and pull it out because some of the initial attempts failed as the dog was quite heavy,” he said.
The tired doggo rested on the dry ground and was fed some bread by the rescuers before it trotted away.
Zahid added that he considered this as a career challenge as it is the first time he and his colleagues had to save a dog while on duty.
We’re so glad that they found the poor thing! Thank you Zahid, Saifullah and others for your kindness!
