If there’s one thing we know for certain, is that most of us can’t even begin to imagine what going through school online this past year must be like, not just for students, but also teachers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced our educators to ensure that their students are learning everything from the yearly school syllabus, without seeing them face-to-face.

Not only that, teachers also have to deal with their usual paperwork, and with the 2021 school year due to start on January 20th, that’s an amount of stress we’ll never know.

And for teachers at SMK Bandar Baru Seri Petaling, work must be piling through the roof for them to resort to this…

The banner read: “We, the teachers of SMK BB Seri Petaling, request for the removal of our ‘mental’ headmistress, so that this school may return to its former glory.”

While this was amusing, netizens questioned if this was the right move on the teachers’ part.

The head teacher of a school should be a model example for teachers and students of a school, and there shouldn’t be any reason for the teachers to do something like this, even if the person can be a tyrant!

Then again, most Malaysians felt the teachers shouldn’t have put their headmistress in the spotlight like that, as there are proper means to tackle this issue.

Our teachers may not be on the pandemic frontlines, but they are frontliners nonetheless, and they deserve nothing but respect.

Don’t stress them out during these trying times! Spread love, people!

What do you think about this?
