Stranger Helps Accident Victim, Stays Until The Ambulance Came

We’ve been exposed to too much negativity recently, that this little act of kindness had us all teary-eyed.

It all started when Twitter user, Taufik Zainuddin posted a thread, telling the story of an Indian man who had helped his little brother who got into an accident in Subang at 5 in the morning.

The stranger, Thiban, contacted Taufik and told him all the necessary details, and waited with Taufik’s brother while the ambulance made its way to the accident site. He even kept the brother’s motorcycle at his home.

He wrote, “My brother got into an accident in Subang at 5am, and I’d like to thank this Indian boy, Thiban. He was the one who called me in the morning, updated me on the situation and their location, and he took care of my brother while the ambulance was on its way, and even kept my brother’s motorcycle at home.”

Malaysian were quick to respond to the tweet and most of them thanking Thiban for his act of kindness, and for being selfless towards a stranger. Some shared their own experience of getting help from strangers when they got into accidents.

Taufik’s post has since gained over 16,000 retweets.

Malaysians truly are the kindest and most caring people despite our cultural differences, kan?
