A flooded restaurant in Thailand has taken dining in water to a whole ‘nother level!
Chaopraya Antique Cafe in Nonthaburi, Bangkok, has stayed open for customers despite heavy monsoon rains flooding the restaurant with shin-deep water.

We would advise you to not play or swim in floodwaters as there could be sharp objects that could puncture your skin or wild animals like a crocodile or snakes swimming around in the water!
However, videos have gone viral on social media of diners jumping onto chairs when passing long-tail boats send waves through the restaurant.
In the video, you can see the customers perched on wooden stools, cheering and laughing as brown murky floodwater come at their tables and chairs.

According to Daily Mail, when flooding began, the owner, Titiporn Jutimanon intended to close the restaurant but soon realised customers did not actually mind being surrounded by water, and that the “concept” has spread and was trending on social media.
Thailand’s health authorities, however, advised the public to not expose themselves to or swim in flood water as faecal matter from overflowing sewage, chemicals and industrial waste can cause illness and skin infections.
It looks fun, but it’s dangerous, guys!
