Malaysians, if you’re living in Australia and looking for a job, take note!
Recently, a Malaysian restaurant in Melbourne, Australia advertises that we’re looking for someone who can make a profession out of flipping roti canai.
Roti Bar, located on Little Collins Street was looking to hire a specialized “roti canai chef” as they take pride in roti canai and even named their restaurant after the dish.
They are offering between AUD60,000 to AUD65,000 which is roughly around RM190,000 and RM205,000 a year for the full-time position. This amounts to around AUD5,400 or RM17,100 a month. Woah!
Candidates will also be working with Ray, the head chef who is a Malaysian living in Melbourne and will have much more to learn than just how to make “the greatest roti canai in Melbourne” as the restaurant also serves other Malaysian cuisines like banana leaf rice, nasi lemak, nasi biryani, laksa, chicken satay and more.
Yummy, the menu sounds good!
