There are many types of durian that you can find in Malaysia… Our personal favourite is the durian kampung. What about you?

Here are the types of durian that you can find in Malaysia!

red durians? yes, they’re real and you can find them mostly in sabah!

Recently on TikTok, a video about red durians from Sabah gained a lot of attention online. And it’s because the durian is literally red. We’re not lying!

Many were surprised to see the bright red colour of the durian, which apparently exists, and we’ve never seen anything like it before either.

In the video, TikTok user @sfiqah42 appears to be showing the viewers some of the red durians that can only be found in Sabah.

What caught all our attention was the durian’s bright red flesh which many people had mistaken as blood, and thought that someone had injured themselves while cutting the fruit open.

Her caption read: “It’s very rare. The red durian season is one or sometimes two times a year only. And the price is very expensive compared to other types of durians.”

One netizen commented: “Not gonna lie, this durian is very creamy and it doesn’t smell like the durians that we usually eat!”

While others pointed out one of the characters in Upin Ipin, Oopet, once ate the red durian in the show and they did not think it really existed.

She also shared in another TikTok video on how you can eat the red durian, where you can see her eating it with some white rice.
