This is not the first time an incident like this happened here!
A woman who was believed to be on her way to work was sexually harassed by a man riding a bicycle in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on Tuesday (April 27th).
In a video shared by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS on Facebook, the suspect is seen cycling around Lorong Taman Limau Manis and making several rounds of the area until he spotted the victim inside her car that was parked at the side of the road.

The suspect circled the area a few more times to make sure that the coast was clear before stopping next to the victim’s car.
He then tried to engage with the woman and started signaling her for something, which was ignored by the woman.
The suspect then leaves, circles around the area and then stops next to the victim’s car again. This time, the woman thought that he was a beggar, had slipped a RM1 note through her window which the man took.
Following that, the man started to unzip his pants and started making sexual gestures towards the woman.

But, after seeing some cars, he quickly zips up his pants and cycles away.
The woman, seeing as it was safe, quickly grabbed all her things and exited her car to try to make a run for it, but as the suspect saw her, he quickly turned his bicycle around and started chasing her.
But luckily a couple of cars saw what was happening and stopped. The suspect, realising that he was now being watched by the public, made another turn and then cycled away from the victim.
According to Kota Bharu district police chief ACP Abdul Rahim, the 23-year-old woman has since made a police report at the Kota Bharu district police station on Wednesday (April 28th).
He said that they have seen the CCTV footage and the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code.
It must be so traumatic for the woman! We hope that she is okay…
Ladies, please stay safe, especially if you’re alone!
