“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” said Machang Bubuk assemblyman Lee Khai Loon.
In his Facebook page, YB Lee shared how he had bought all of the food that was sold by a street vendor and handed them out to hungry people that he came across as well as delivery riders.

The food vendor, named Firdaus, who is from Terengganu, holds a placard to sell his chicken chops by the roadside.
His caption read: “For the sake of finding some income during the FMCO, the chicken chops are placed on his motorcycle.
“I asked him how many packs are left and wanted to buy them all to show support to this hardworking young man,” he said.
Firdaus was shocked and happy as no customer has ever bought all of his food.
Lee said that there were 17 packs of chicken chops, and was wondering if there’s anyone he knew that he could give it to, when he saw a group of delivery riders who are also hard working during the FMCO.

“I saw the delivery riders, these frontliners, and passed some to them as they were resting and waiting for orders. Some of them did not have lunch yet. They were surprised, and some were hesitant as they thought they had to pay.
“I was relieved to see their smiles. I just want to say thank you to all food delivery riders who work hard during this FMCO period. May you be protected and blessed by God,” Lee continued.
What a kind thing to do. Thank you, YB Lee!
