Paralympic Gold Medallist Cheah Liek Hou Brings Cheer To Flood Victims In Selangor

Tokyo Paralympic gold medallist Cheah Liek Hou brought cheer to the flood victims around Hulu Langat and Bukit Tadom over the weekend.

Despite his busy schedule, the 33-year-old national shuttler spent some time presenting donations to the local community affected by the natural disaster, as reported by Astro AWANI. 

In his Facebook page, among the items donated were dried food, blankets and electric goods. 

Liek Hou, who is also a six-time world champion said he could not imagine the sadness and frustration of residents in Hulu Langat and Bukit Tadom after witnessing the impact of the floods on roads, bridges, houses, shop lots and vehicles along the way to the two areas. 

He wrote: “Hopefully, a little contribution from me can help ease their burden. Thank you to all the friends who contributed and assisted in all aspects. May the flood situation recover as soon as possible.”
