Heavy school bag? So, what’s new?
As students who are studying in Malaysia, we’re all familiar with the feeling of having to carry our heavy backpacks up and down the stairs.

However, many schools have thought of different ways to lighten the burden of the school backpack like moving the Standard 1 and Standard 2 classes to the ground floor or even providing their students with storage lockers so that they could leave their books at school.
Recently, a parent shared a video on TikTok thanking a boy named Rayyan for helping her son carry his heavy bag down the stairs.
According to the parent, known as Syazwani, Rayyan is believed to be her son’s classmate. And after seeing his friend in trouble trying to carry his heavy bag down the stairs, Rayyan decided to help hold one side of the bag while carrying his own backpack.
Aww, how kind!
Syazwani added that Rayyan has always been the one to help her son carry his bag down the stairs everyday and that she is thankful her son is surrounded by good friends and wished Rayyan the best for his future.
Netizens took to the comment section to praise Rayyan for his kindness while sympathizing with the students for having to carry heavy school bags every day.
The video has since garnered over 258 thousand views and 24,000 likes at the time of writing.
Kesian betul! We hope the government will think of a solution that could help all students.
