Doctors are shocked after discovering a glass in a man's stomach.
The patient, who was treated at a private hospital in Madipur, Bihar in India said he accidentally swallowed the cup while drinking tea.

He was admitted to the hospital with constipation and severe stomach discomfort, and physicians discovered what was wrong after an ultrasound and X-ray.
They discovered a mass in the man's intestines, which turned out to be glass.
After an endoscopic treatment failed to remove the object from the rectum, the man had to undergo a surgery so doctors could remove the glass safely.
The humiliated patient claims he swallowed the glass while sipping tea, but physicians say this is unlikely because the esophagus or the food pipe, which is part of the digestive system, is too thin to be able to swallow an object of that size.
“How the glass got inside the patient’s body is still a mystery,” said Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, who led the team of doctors operating on the patient.
The patient is stable and recovering.
