Malaysians Are Outraged After A Video Of A Dog Hung And Dragged By A Lorry Went Viral

Human beings can be evil and cruel sometimes…

There was a case recently where 11 kittens were found dead at an apartment complex in Rawang, Selangor, and now a video of a helpless dog hung at the back of a lorry and being dragged on the road in Klang has gone viral.

In the video, shared by the Malaysia Animal Association (MAA), shows the witness who filmed the incident, can be heard honking at the lorry in an attempt to stop them.

They wrote: “A dog is seen hung and dragged from the back of a lorry heading towards Carey Island, Klang. This act of tying and dragging the dog while the lorry is moving is an act of cruelty, and it is inhumane. The driver has done this on purpose.”

The witness told MAA that the dog was alive, as they followed closely behind the lorry but its skin had begun to come off.

MAA added: “Both driver and passenger of the lorry have been asked to come forward with an explanation. The witness will lodge a report to the authorities so that an investigation can proceed. This act of hanging and dragging the dog while the lorry is moving fast is cruel.”

We can’t believe someone would do that to these precious animals!

One person commented: “This made my blood boils, witnessing how cruel and heartless a human can be. What do they get from doing this? Just makes my chest hurt watching this”

While others were more concerned about the dog, and offered to help, “What happened to the dog? Any updates? How can we help?”
