Continuous heavy rain since last week has caused flooding in several districts in Terengganu and Kelantan, forcing residents to be evacuated and sheltered at flood relief centers.
The floods throughout the peninsula have not only disrupted the lives of humans, but also animals, with pet owners and farm owners taking to social media to plead for the rescue of strays and trapped animals.

Recently, a video went viral on Instagram showing a man hauling a cow to dry land by firmly grasping its nose, and pulling it through high waters, using a boat. The man had also saved a calf that can be seen lying down in the boat.
“He has rescued some flood victims,” the caption reads.
Another man, who was recording the video can be heard saying: “Nobody notices us when we’re struggling like this. Our backs and stomachs hurt. It’s so hard to get help.”
Netizens took to the comments section to praise both men for saving the lives of these poor helpless animals.
They must be so scared and confused! So kesian!
