JPJ P-Stickers A Hit In China! Drivers Proudly “Decorate” Their Car With The Sticker On Their Windscreen

Ah yes, the P-sticker…

Cars with P stickers mean the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has issued the driver a probationary driving license (PDL).

Drivers in Malaysia, after passing their practical tests conducted by the JPJ authorities are given the “P” license or Probationary Driver’s License (PDL) for two years, to alert other drivers, “Hey, a new driver here!”

New license holders have been dreaming about the day when they will finally be able to remove the sticker from their vehicles, however, it seems like people from other countries are paying money to have it on their cars as decorations!

Yes, can you believe it?!

Sellers on China’s biggest e-commerce platform, Taobao have been selling our P-stickers on their platform since October last year.

According to China Press, one seller managed to sell an average of 56 pieces a month for 28.99 yuan or RM19.30 apiece. Wahh, people are actually making money out of these stickers!

Though it is a bit excessive for Malaysians, apparently the people in China don’t mind because they use it to decorate their cars, and because they thought that the P-stickers are “cool” and “stylish.”
