It’s been two years since Malaysians get to celebrate Hari Raya with their friends and families due to the travel restrictions that were implemented to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
And because of that, Malaysians were pretty excited when it was announced that they were allowed to travel and visit their loved ones for this year's Hari Raya.

Many shared on social media their preparations for the special day, and of course, it wouldn’t be Hari Raya without the traditional baju kurung and baju melayu!
Unexpectedly, this year, Hari Raya came a day early for Malaysians…
In case you didn’t know, the date of Eid is determined according to the lunar calendar which is shorter than the solar calendar. This is why the date changes every year and the precise timings vary from country to country.
One TikTok user, @hzqfzan stole the show when his baju melayu didn’t have sleeves because it wasn’t ready for the early Hari Raya.
The man can be seen trying on his baju melayu which had no sleeves and no pockets. Not gonna lie, it looks a lot more like a muscle tee than a baju melayu!
He also couldn’t figure out how he would go to the Hari Raya prayers the next morning because of his unusual attire and experimented with many styles and fashions in order to solve the sleeveless baju melayu dilemma.
The video has since garnered over 2 million views and over 209 thousand likes at the time of writing.
Aiyo, this is so funny!
