Grandmother Builds Indoor Swimming Pool In Her Living Room For Her Grandchildren

For us, balik kampung and visiting our grandparents is the best thing about growing up!

The best part about our grandparents is their unconditional love, and how they spoil their grandchildren (in a good way, of course!) just to keep them happy by indulging their grandchildren with special treats, lots of toys and permission to bend the rules - like staying up an hour past our bedtimes…

And when we’re older, it’s the RM50 notes they would slip into our pockets when we’re about to leave kampung. Grandparents are the best!

But this grandmother from Johor really went above and beyond to make her grandchildren happy… 

In a recent viral video, a grandma gave her home a makeover and literally put an indoor swimming pool in the middle of her living room. Woah!

The video shows the before and after of the grandma’s living room - and in the ‘after’ clip, the children can be seen playing and splashing around in the living room while the furniture is all covered in plastic to keep them dry. 

So cool!

The video has since garnered over 1.7 million views and there’s even a follow-up video showing how you can remove the water from the special indoor swimming pool.
