GF Asks To Break Up With Boyfriend After Finding His RM50,000 Savings “Too Little”

A 27-year-old Malaysian man was recently dumped by his girlfriend after she found out that he has RM50,000 in savings.

Unsatisfied with the boyfriend’s monthly salary and feeling “very insecure” of his savings, the girlfriend feels like he won’t be able to provide her with the things she wants and decides to break off the relationship.

According to the screenshots that were shared on Facebook last Wednesday (February 9th), the girlfriend complained that the man only had RM50,000 in his savings.

“You are turning 27-years-old soon but only have RM50,000, cannot leh,” the message reads.

“My friends eat at Hai Di Lao every day. You only bring me there once a month.”

She also complained about the boyfriend's monthly income of RM4,000 to RM5,000.

The girlfriend added that she was being “considerate” and asked for the break-up after the Chinese New Year celebrations.

She wanted to ask for a break-up earlier but revealed that she was concerned that her relatives would ask her about her relationship status over CNY. So, she decided to ask for a break-up after the celebrations.

“I don’t think you can provide for me with the kind of life I want, sorry,” she continued.
