He also said that his secret weapon costs RM13 Million! Wow, that’s a lot!

In his Instagram post, Azizul shared snippets of the bicycle, revealing some bits and pieces of the black and silver WX-R Vorteq bike that will be used at the Izu Velodrome in Tokyo, Japan.

The bicycle was also specifically built for Malaysia’s two national track bike champions Azizulhasni Awang and Muhammad Shah Firdaus.

According to Sinar Harian, the bicycle was produced through a research and development (R&D) project worth RM13 million between the National Sports Institute Malaysia (ISN) and a company from the United Kingdom, TOTALSIM Ltd., which specializes in aerodynamic engineering

They were both provided with three of the bicycles each for them to use at the Olympics.

We can’t wait to see Datuk Azizul and Muhammad Shah in action! All the best, Team Malaysia!
