She found the wallet when she was on duty.

The 36-year-old cleaner, named Halimah, reportedly found a brown wallet allegedly belonging to a passenger that was in the Central Corridor Departure Terminal 2E area of the Soekarno-Hatta airport.

According to Remonews, the foreman of the Terminal 2 cleaning service immediately reported the lost item to the aviation safety supervisor (Avsec) who was on duty at the time.

When examined by the Avsec agents, the wallet contained four bank books, a passport and two cheques worth 35.5 billion Rupiah!

“It doesn’t matter, large or small, the value of the goods, as long as they do not belong to us, then it has become an obligation for field agents to report it,” he said.

What an amazing and kind thing to do. Thank you, Halimah!
