Everyone deserves their dream wedding, and now it may include a chandelier cake!
The mesmerizing chandelier cake hanging from the wedding hall’s ceiling was featured at the wedding of two local celebrities, Aiman Hakim Ridza and Zahirah MacWilson last Saturday (22 Feb).

Lily & Lola Cakes, the renowned cake designer, who has also made wedding cakes for many other celebrities such as Yuna and Neelofa, said it was a dream come true to witness the intricately decorated cake in all its glory during the wedding.
“Our chandelier cake dream came true for Zahirah MacWilson’s dreamy wedding. This complete idea took 3 years in the making & was only finalised hours before the wedding!” Lily & Lola Cakes said on their Instagram.
In the Instagram post, they included a few pictures of the couple with the breath-taking cake along with a video of the cake magically descending from the ceiling.
In an interview with Mstar, the founder of Lily & Lola cakes, Lily Osman, said that the process of making the cake wasn’t as hard as hanging the 8 feet cake from the ceiling.
“The cake itself was completed in a week’s time but to hang the cake from the ceiling took hours. It took a couple of people to help hang the cake as we had to make sure the cake was properly attached to the structure on the ceiling, so it won’t fall’
The first of its kind, gravity-defying cake was also the talk of the town with many commenting on how the designers were able to achieve such an impressive feat!
Even our favorite comedian, Harith Iskander, thought the cake was out of this world!
As pictures and videos of the cake go viral, Lily hopes that more people will open their eyes to the many amazing talents in Malaysia today, especially in the cake designing community!
