Check Out This Local Artist’s Illustrations On Malaysia’s Endangered Species At KLCC!

We have so many young and talented artists here in our country, like Muaz Zainuddin.

His tweet recently went viral when he shared a video of his illustrations of Malaysia’s endangered species, plastered on a billboard outside of Suria KLCC, one of the main tourist spots in Kuala Lumpur.

In the caption, he said: “Best feeling ever. Mak, ayah, this is for you!”

According to mStar, the illustration of Malaysia’s endangered species is a project under the advertising company Big Tree Outdoor, where Muaz works.

Muaz told mStar that the idea came about when his team felt that many critically endangered species in Malaysia receive little to no conservation action because of the lack of awareness among society.

His tweet has since garnered over 178.8 thousand views, 6.4 thousand retweets, and 19.2 thousand likes.

He also added that it took him more than a month to complete the sketches, and among the animals featured were the leatherback turtle, Malayan tapir, Malayan tiger, Malayan pheasant, pangolin, pygmy elephant, bornean orangutan, rhinoceros hornbill, and more.

So, if you’re in the area, don’t forget to take some nice pictures and post it on your social media to show support and at the same time, to bring awareness towards the importance of conserving our endangered species

Great job, Muaz!
