Young Woman in China Juggles Four Jobs and Saves RM60K in Under a Year: "I Want Financial Freedom"

In Fujian, China, a young woman in her early 20s has become a viral sensation for her incredible work ethic, managing not one, but four jobs to make ends meet.

In a post on Douyin by @仔仔非常爱生活, she revealed the reality of her situation: one full-time job simply isn’t enough to cover her expenses. Determined to achieve financial independence as quickly as possible, she took on multiple roles, sacrificing leisure time for a packed work schedule.

With so much on her plate, she confessed to surviving on just four hours of sleep most days, “My full-time job starts at 5:30 AM, so I have to wake up at 4 in the morning. The shift ends at 5:30 PM, but of course, I do get breaks in between.”

Her main job is in the food and beverage industry, where she handles kitchen prep and cleaning tasks, as seen in her daily vlogs on Douyin. However, her day doesn’t end after 12 grueling hours. She continues to work as a cinema usher, takes on additional part-time roles, and even manages her own website.

“After I finish my main job, I work two other part-time jobs and run my website. I can only sleep around 12:30 AM.”

When asked if the workload exhausts her, she had a candid response, “It’s more exhausting to earn just RMB2,000 (around RM1,230) a month and struggle to survive. I make much more with multiple jobs, so it’s worth it.”

Her relentless efforts pay off significantly. By juggling four jobs, she earns around RMB10,000 (approximately RM6,180) each month. This financial boost has enabled her to save an impressive RMB100,000 (approximately RM61,700) in less than a year.

She credits her savings habit to her upbringing, sharing that she has been disciplined about saving money since childhood.

Her story serves as a testament to the lengths some are willing to go to secure a better future, inspiring many with her dedication and resilience.
