Just a few days ago, a Twitter user recently warned pet owners online that there was a man from Ipoh who has been pretending to look for kittens to adopt, but is actually feeding them to his pet snake.
The tweet has since gone viral as netizens were shocked that the man could get these kittens and rabbits for free and feed them to his snake.

However, recently, the Veterinary Services Department has confirmed that they received a complaint from the public regarding the Twitter user who has been “adopting” kittens to feed them to his pet snake.
According to The Star, the department’s deputy director, Dr. Akma Ngah Hamid stated that her office received the complaint and immediately forwarded it to the Animal Welfare section.
“We received the complaint via email and forwarded it directly to animal welfare. Please submit any additional reports to MyAnimalWelfare’s online system,” she stated.
Since the tweet has gone viral, netizens have voiced their anger after learning the truth, “How could you be so heartless?!” one person commented.
The snake owner has since deactivated his Twitter account after receiving backlash from the public.
