The historical city of Szczecin, located in northwest Poland and not far from the German border, has a lot to offer tourists. However, when it comes to online reviews, the city's most well-liked attraction is a big cat named Gacek, not the Pomeranian Dukes Castle or Kasprowicza Park, which are two of its most well-liked tourist destinations.

The tuxedo cat gained popularity in 2020 when a local news outlet wSzczecinie included the animal in a video that later went viral on social media.

Since then, Gacek has received many compliments from viewers!

One local woman claims that Gacek first showed up at Kaszubska Street in the centre of Szczecin about ten years ago. He stayed, and people began to warm up to him.

He slowly changed from a scrawny cat to a chunky boy after people started feeding him regularly, which only made him cuter!

Gacek has received more five star reviews on Google making him the city’s top-rated tourist attraction!
